The steps to become a licensed RMTi Consultant or Instructor can be found in the Professional Options menu to the left.

RMTi licensing is a perfect companion for practitioners or trainers of various modalities including, but not limited to, Early Childhood teacher; registered and qualified primary/elementary/grade school teacher; high school teacher; school counselor; Occupational Therapist; Physical Therapist; Speech Therapist/Pathologist; Massage Therapist; Brain Gym Instructor; Kinesiologist; Touch for Health Instructor; Yoga teacher; INPP Practitioner; MNRI Practitioner; Behavioural/Developmental Optometrist; Osteopath; Chiropractor; Dance Teacher; Nurse; Doctor; Parent; etc.

Depending on your country of residency it may also be necessary, for legal reasons, that you:

    • Have a background/police check. In some countries called Working with Children check
    • Add RMTi to your professional Indemnity Insurance. If this is difficult the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT) recognises RMT and you can join and take out insurance with them. At the present time this is only possible for residents of UK and EU countries, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.

Licensed professionals have access to the RMTi library of training/consulting materials, a listing in our professional directory so people can find you, and access to additional resources through our member dashboard.

Licensed instructors have the ability to add class offerings to our site.

To remain a licensed RMTi professional, you will need to stay qualified/certified in your profession or modality, meet the continuing education requirements for your level of licensure, sign and adhere to the RMTi licensing agreement and pay the annual RMTi licensing fee.

There is no prerequisite certification/license/degree to become a RMTi Instructor or Consultant outside of completing the course work from RMTi that is required and demonstrating competency.

There is a $75.00 first time application fee for Consultants and Instructors. There is a $25 application fee for Instructors to add additional classes. Tier Two pricing will be reflected on the application. This will go into effect July 1, 2019.

These requirements are current as of October 2024, and are subject to change.

A revision to our curriculum was completed in 2018. Coursework prior to the 2018 curriculum revision is no longer acceptable to qualify for certification. If you have extenuating circumstances and would like to request an exception to have coursework prior to 2018 be considered, email the office directly.
