Sonia Hawkins
Sonia Hawkins is a sensory processing and Rhythmic Movement consultant, specializing in supporting neurological development through movement-based integration.
Her work focuses on identifying retained primitive reflexes and developmental gaps that impact learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation. She is the first consultant in South Africa to qualify as an instructor in Rhythmic Movement Training Levels 1 and 2.
Using gentle, non-invasive rhythmic movements, she supports the maturation of the central nervous system and helps build strong foundations for focus, coordination, and self-regulation.
With a background in preschool education, tutoring, and special needs, Sonia offers individual consultations as well as guidance for parents and educators. She works both in-person and online from South Africa.
