Open to anyone wishing to learn about Reflex Integration & Rhythmic Movement Training which might include parents, classroom / SEN / preschool teachers, sports coaches, childcare workers, nursery workers The workshop covers: • How Primitive Reflexes affect our emotions • How to work with rhythmic movements to get in touch with our emotions & stabilise them • How stress & daily life affects our body & how the rhythmic movements can help to relax & ease muscle tension • Necessary for anyone wishing to work with Rhythmic Movement Training • Prerequisite: Level 1

I came into the world of Primitive Reflexes and Rhythmic Movement Training through my children. My youngest son has Down Syndrome and has more recently been diagnosed with autism with high levels of demand avoidance, so life can sometimes be quite complicated!

I found the first two RMTi courses I attended to be a revelation, and had my 'why doesn't everyone know about this?' moment. From there I decided that I wanted to qualify as an RMTi Consultant so that I could help children and adults facing challenges in their lives as a result of active Primitive Reflexes, having lived with the challenges myself! My passion is helping children and adults with their emotional regulation, however I can also help with all the other areas of life that RMTi can support: ability to learn, speech, balance and coordination, and posture.

I qualified as an RMTi consultant in 2018 and more recently qualified to be an RMTi Instructor. As an RMTi Consultant, I love being able to help children and adults address the root cause of the challenges that they are facing in life, and as an RMTi Instructor I love to teach students how to work with this invaluable therapy within their current roles or as part of their training to become Consultants.
