Sarah discovered and fell in love with RMT at the beginning of 2017. Since this time, it has become her preferred method of intervention when working with children, young people and adults.
Sarah believes RMT brings about real change when completed on a daily basis for a period of time. She has seen clients improve their attention skills and focus , muscle tone and posture, balance and coordination, self-esteem, sense of self, eye-contact, emotional regulation, impulse control and ability to achieve a calmer well-balanced state.
Sarah uses RMT to help:
1) Children who have a diagnosis i.e. Dyspraxia, ADHD, Sensory Processing Difficulties and Anxiety.
2) School aged children without a diagnosis who need help to develop or fine-tune their skills i.e. attention and listening skills, emotional regulation, motor and coordination skills and academic skills- i.e. reading and writing.
3) Pre-school children who are showing some delays in their school-readiness skills.
4) Children and adults with anxiety.
Many of my clients will also be seeing other professionals and RMT may form part of their overall well-being package. I am happy to work alongside other providers treating your child.
Sarah is a qualified occupational therapist and sensory integration practitioner. She has a clinic in Sidcup, in South-East London.
